Bishops College Youth Action Committee Bishops College Youth Action Committee has spearheaded fundraising and awareness building efforts on issues of local, national and international concern. In addition to fundraising in excess of $11,000 to support the Children's Wish Foundation the school has consistently mobilized their school to support local initiatives like VOCM's Coats for Kids Drive; Iris Kirby House and CYN's Street Reach program just to name a few. Their contributions to the global community have been equally as impressive. Annually the group have fundraised thousands of dollars to support the work of: War Child Canada, Oxfam Canada, World Vision's 30-Hour Famine and The Red Cross's Help for Haiti Fund. They've also partnered with other school groups and been actively involved in the Gay-Straight Alliance and helped organize Bishops College's first "Purple Week".
